Gabellini Sheppard

Since 2005, Gabellini Sheppard has collaborated with crystal manufacturers around the world to produce a series of light sculptures that reinvent the concept of chandelier.  Utilizing innovative crystal fabrication and cutting techniques, the projects epitomize intrinsic values of technical prowess and material purity.  These unique installations experienced at Miami Art Basel, Top of the Rock at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, The Luxury Village, Westfield London, as well as Mall of America in Minnesota, sparkle and bring to life the public spaces they ingratiate.

For the NBCU Lobby project, Gabellini Sheppard re-envisioned a spectacular 12-foot diameter, bronze ringed chandelier, up-lighting its silver-leafed surface evocative of the long lost fixture from the original mezzanine. 

At the NBCU Retail Stair, the signature lighting sculpture with LED illuminated colored rods and is conceived as creative and abstract interpretation of the colorful NBCU Peacock Logo.
